ATI Rage Mobility 128 AGB / Win 2000 for Compaq Presario

I have updated my Presario Laptop (1800 T) to Win 2000, but neither Compaq nor ATI will not supply me with a display driver for my Rage Mobility 128 AGB. Compaq says they don't suport Win 2000 on the Presario, ATI says the manufacturer modifies the drivers so it's out of their control! That leaves me with 800x600 with 16 colors!!! Any help would be much appreciated.

My machine came with ME. I put W2000 on it but needed the ATI vid Drivers for the installation. Compaq ... NO HELP! ATI ... NO HELP!! I looked on Dells website and found them as Dell's parts are some of the same as in the Compaq machine ...

I found the solution. I have got the image for windows 2000 prof. and i copied the drivers and here we are can see a normal display.<br />You ca e-mail me to haim@hadassah.org.il and i'll send you the right drivers.

After four days for searching for drivers for Win98SE, and communicating with Compaq (what a waste), I found your entry. The idea was good; I got what I wanted! Thank you.
