HI, I have done an exhaustive search for drivers for a motorola modem w/ sound
in / outs... Windows recognizes it as a "Win 5602 Modem Line Interface card".
Have tried different driver downloads, None work.
have also gone as far as to format & re-install Windows... 3 diff versions.
Win 95b , Win 98 S.E. , & WinME... only have 32 Mb.'s Ram on old Dell Opti-Plex.
Would try Win 2K or Xp, but not able to find any more EDO sticks around.
Has anyone ever heard of this modem before ???
It is an ISA modem w/ ports for sound, Has Motorola stamped on the large chipset. 1st set of #'s on the chipset is 62099-51.
All three OS's have Identified it, but complain that the drivers cannot be found.
If it was mine, I'd throw it out the window.... just tring to help a friend get re-connected to the web.
Thanks
