Execute a script when an fault occures

I am using InfraStruXure Manager. Now when an critical error occures then i am notified via an email message. I need that when an error/fault occures then a script or an piece of code automatically executes.
Another option is that i am notified via a pager. In this case send me the settings so that i can configure my pager. Post me results of both the cases.
