Anyone else having problems with the TV wonder in w2k? I had it running beautifully in w2k on setup, but I formatted my drive (exact same system) and now the bastard thing doesnt want to work. I've tried everything, from running it as the only card in system to a brand new setup... No help.
Anyone have any ideaS?
Thanks
What exactly is meant by "it doesn't work"? Is it not being recognized, is the video not coming in, etc... more info is needed.

What I meant was that I get sound, and I get picture.. But only for a short while.
I'll elaborate.
I'll start the TV Wonder software (for win2k) and everything will work just fine for a minute or two and the picture will freeze! The sound continues to play and I can close the app though taskman...
Now it worked beautifully before on the same EXACT computer until I did a re-format, and installed all the same stuff. Almost nothing is different, and I've tried several configs!!

I'm having the exact same problem. The first time I installed it, it worked fine for about five minutes. When I rebooted, device manager says the tuner driver "Could not start (Code 10)"
Eventually, after a lot of tweaking, I reformatted and reinstalled Win2k. Now, it installs as the PAL version, which I do not have.
I guess I can't complain, since these are beta drivers, and it says it won't work in win2k right on the box.
Maybe it'll be fixed by the time Service Pack 9 comes out, and I can order a driver CD from ATI http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum2/frown.gif

I've spoken with some of the tech support guys and they tell me that a final release is on the way, but they have no clue when! They told me they are completely out of the loop.
So here's hoping it'll be soon!

OK. I've spoken with some people at ATI, who are supposedly in the know, and they tell me new TV-Wonder drivers are due sometime in april. Of course knowing ATI that means midnight of April 30th.
But Atleast there's hope!

I sure hope you're right. I even installed Whistler beta 2 to see if Microsoft's new OS handled it any better with no luck. No more stop errors, but no TV either.

If the TV tuner refuses to come on under Windows 2000, giving error messages about having the wrong driver or an existing device being in use download Microsoft's Digital Video update for DirectX 8 (http://www.microsoft.com/directx/). This will solve the problem.
