Rage Fury Maxx Suxx

I can't believe I bought this card last year. It ran ok for the first couple of months, but now that I have to update drivers in order to play certin games, there are no updated drivers. Looks like ATI overlooked creating new drivers for the maxx. Even 3dfx has newer drivers than ATI for there new dual procesor video card the v5 5500, and 3dfx went out of business in December of 2000. Now games like Giants won't play worth a red penny, and Quake 3 doesn't wanna run corectly, I get like flickery borders in some of the maps like in q3ctf4, and to I go through a portal the video flickers around the border of the screen. Does anybody know where I can updated drivers for my Rage Fury Maxx that are newer that August of last year? I went to ATI today to see if I could get a driver for the maxx and I couldnt even get to the page where the last drivers I got from ATI were from. It's all about rage pro's/XL's and the radeon. So am I screwd? Should I of bouht a V5 5500 AGP? No more new drivers for my card, the rage fury maxx, any help would be most appreciated, Thanks - sorry for the long drawn out details, had to get it off my chest, venting.

Thanks for letting me know where the drivers I already have are, and that's something. I'd like to be able to get the new drivers for my video card if there are any, is there? I already have driver version 4.12.7942, which came out August 29, 2000. Are there newer drivers for the enRAGEd FURY MAXX? I had noticed that before 3dfx went out of business, they were pumping out new drivers for their new line of cards almost every other month. Right up till they closed down.

What's going on with ATI? I know the Radeon just came out in the later part of last year, but does it mean that once ATI puts out a new video card, they forget about products they have put out previously and screw people who have purchased their products? Oh yeah, I forgot, that's what they were doing with their Radeons. ATI marketed the Radeon 32MB video card along side the Radeon 64MB video card leading people to believe they were the same thing except that one only had 32MB's more memory than the other, wrong.

The 64MB Radeon's GPU clock was running at what 183Mhz while the 32MB Radeon's GPU clock was running at 166Mhz. Notice how ATI never put the GPU core clock speeds on the Retail boxes, that way you would never know you were paying $75-$100 less for an inferior product (the 32mb Radeon) compared to ATI's 64MB Radeon. ATI was leading people to believe there wasn't any difference between the two, accept for 32MB's of memory.

Any way, to get back to my question. Is there any new drivers for the RAGE FURY MAXX besides the 4.12.7942 drivers, because these drivers suck to the MAXX!!!
