need help for ALS 100 sound card

i have installed ALS 100 sound card on my computer but it's not working the way it supposed to. when i'm using WINAMP the sound it's sending was not so good. even if i put the volume to the max it's still does not sound loud enough.

Is it because of the driver that i installed or the sound card is the problem? please help me on this matter thank you.

Go here (http://www.realtek.com.tw/htm/download/cgi/DLd1.cgi?model=ALS100&type=2) to get drivers for all versions of Windows (except ME) for the ALS100 chipset... :D
