I had purchased a BTC56IPI modem that supposedly is a K56 FLEX and V.90 Auto detection. The highest I can connect through any of the diff. ISP's I have been using is 44000 bps. Any one any strings I can use or any driver updates??? If so, email me at blu_smurf69@yahoo.com

Location is a big part of your connection speed. I have a 56K modem, but i live out in the country, and only connect @ 26,400... also may be the ISP that you are using. Try using TweakUI as well... most times it can help to get your modem speed up and running as fast as it can depending on the circumstances.
