I take it you've already tried <a href="http://web14.compaq.com/falco/sp_list.asp" target="_blank">Compaq's Support for Software & Drivers</a>. Looks like the only thing specifically for your model and Win2000 is for the <a href="http://web14.compaq.com/falco/sp_syn.asp?detail=yes&recid=SP19369" target="_blank">Intervideo WinDVD Player</a>.
You might also try <a href="http://www.compaq.com/support/files/notebook100/us/locOsCat/20.html" target="_blank">AVAILABLE SOFTWARE</a> for Win2000. Looks like there is a generic audio and modem driver listed.
