Win2000 drivers for Presario 1230

Hi there,

I'd love to know if using Windows 2000 on my Presario 1230 notebook is even possible.<br />I'm looking for Windows 2000 drivers for the following.

NeoMagic MagicGraph 128 ZV <br />XpressAUDIO(TM) 16 bit<br />Synaptics PS/2 TouchPad<br />Compaq Presario 56K-DF modem

Also, the following quote comes from Compaq's Community Forums: "Compaq does not recommend upgrading the Operating System. They do have models which come with Windows Mellinium Edition (the consumer version of Windows 2000). Purchasing and installing Windows 2000 qualifies you for support from Microsoft. Upgrading to Windows 2000 does not void your Compaq warranty, however, they cannot troubleshoot hardware nor software issues until you perform a Full Restore back to its preinstalled operating system or a supported upgrade thereof. Windows 2000 Professional does not provide an uninstall feature. You will not be able to return to your previous version of Windows after installing Windows 2000 unless you completely reinstall your older version of Windows and all of your programs."
