I just reinstalled Win 98 in a Presario 4712 and now the control panel ( CD controls, sleep/suspend button, and the Q button do not work. I cannot seem to find the related software for this on the website.<br /><br />Any help would be appreciated Thanks
Try going here for <a href="http://web14.compaq.com/falco/sp_result.asp?Model=2721&Os=0#Keyboard,%20Mouse%20and%20Input%20Devices" target="_blank">input drivers for your Presario</a>. Click on "Compaq Easy Access buttons" which says it controls such features as "speakerphone, volume, audio CD player, SmartQ online help, and Sleep mode."<br />It says it is for Win95 but should work for you in Win98 also.<br />Good Luck!
