i really need the dvd drivers for my
creative labs ovation 12x dvd rom. I've
tried to search their web page but coudl'nt
find anything.

You shouldn't need any drivers to run the Creative Labs Encore 12x PC-DVD drive (I have one), unless you're trying to run it under DOS or Win3.1, in which case I don't know where you get the drivers.
You do need drivers to run the Dxr-3 decoder card. However, only beta drivers are available for W2K. The DVD works like a standard CD-rom use any NEC compatible cdrom driver.
