I have a Dell Dimension XPS R400MHZ Pentium 2 Minitower Base with MMX Technology and 512K Cache(Don't ask me, I have no idea what that gibberish is!) Anyway, just recently the computer had to be fixed. Windows 98 had to be re-installed, but all the previous programs are still on the hard disk. Everything is normal except for one thing:
No sound. Yes, the speakers are on. I can't seem to find that little speaker icon that is usually next to the computer's clock... I'm pretty sure its because I haven't re-installed my sound card's drivers when the prompt that asked me to came up... the thing is, I don't have the disk that holds the drivers! I have no idea where to find them, the only thing I know about the sound card is
it's a "Integrated Crystal WaveTable Sound"
card... Any ideas? I have tried looking for the drivers for the sound card, but to no avail... *sigh* if you have any suggestions please post them up.

Thanks

hi ,what you will have to do is get the number off the chip on your sound
(it sould look something like this )
cx4235,it could be another set of numbers,it depends on the card itself, then you can post a message and get the right drivers
hope it helps you
