crystal wdm audio codec

My sound card is crystal wdm audio codec and my computer teacher told me to go on the internet and download it because the sound on my computer doesnt work anymore. It only works if i put a music cd in the cd-rom drive. but the sounds from america online or my mp3's on my computer don't work anymore. so i would like to know where to download it or what i should do. thank you.

I have a Acer Travelmate 508DX notebook and it uses the Crystam WDM Audio Codec. I'm using windows 98 second edition. Is there any new driver for this sound board ?

I also have an ACER Travelmate 507T. I just downloaded and installed Real Jukebox and kabloom! lost all contact with Crystal WDM Audio Codec. I'm also using Windows 98 second edition. There must be a problem with compatibility. I reinstalled the drivers which claim to be running, but Win98 refuses to recognize the sound board. Keeps telling me I have a "fatal error". I have sent an email to ACER and will let yiu know their reply.
