Windows xp drivers

I have a MITAC 5033 notebook with a systemsoft r1.13 BIOS. I have installed an evaluation copy of Windows xp on it and the ATX functions have disappeared as have the battery indication. It permanently shews that there is AC power even when running on battery.

Can you help please?
