Acer Laser 506GII Drivers

Hi, although I've been able to use DEC's DECLaser 1800 and also Citizens Prolaser 6000 & Epson's EPL 5200PCL drivers, I am trying to get the correct driver for this printer as the ones I have used do not correctly activate economy or other features.

Acer's website doesn't acknowledge any printers. The FTP site includes a driver for a different printer under Winodws 3.1.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of this driver or can email it I'd be very grateful.

Incidentally I'm keen to know if the memory is upgradeable if anyone knows.

Hi Mark,
I am also looking for this blessed driver. It seems Acer manufactured these printers and do not want to know any more about them.
We have this model at our place and were using HP Laserjet III driver for it. It is working fine for Windows 3.1 but I'm having problems using it with NT4. When I initially installed it on a Pentium I(using NT4), it was functioning OK. Somehow, lately, I don't know what happened but I am having problems. Every document I open its page is set up as "Letter" and on printing some characters are not printed(left blank). To print a document correctly, I have to amend the properties of the printer each time and set "Print Text as Graphics" option of Document options to "ON".
I tried re-installing HP LaserjetIII driver but still no effect. Thats why I was looking for its proper driver.
If you happen to come across Acer's driver I would be much obliged if you let me know.
