Hello; I've googled tooooooooo! Did you get any reply on your request. I have the same toy and the same problem as yours. I was quite amazed that JVC does not offer to download the drivers.
If you have it, please think to me.
Thx.

If its a jlip camera, then you download the new jlip update.

i'm on windows xp sp2.. when windows recognises the camera, the software that it tries to install off the given cd, is for windows 98 and will not work.
i've googled for gr-d70 software for xp, but i've found nothing.
the links posted above are no help either.

so did you try downloading the updated jlip software? If you want it to work you have to use the jlip software.

the manuals can be found here

English models are numbered differently from the japanese models. have you tried asking jvc? they don't bite you know!

Question GR-d70 driver xp

Hey Noonoo, I've gone to your links and looked for Jlip software but I don't know which one to get? I downloaded one like the video capture or something and that didn't do anything. Can you tell me what it's called exactely so I can download the right thing, is it video producer or movie player or something?
Thanx

Welcome to Windrivers tephy2

Your camera is a minidv - so you don't need the jlip software, it's for older cameras.

What you need is a firewire card and since you have XP, you can use the xp movie maker.
