Post P3 600MHz on GA 6BXS Hangs

I have just upgraded my 6BXS from a P!!!500 to a P!!!600 but it seems to hang at every opportunity. I have used the switch setting recommended on the G-B website and updated my Bios to rev:F1. My board is rev:1.5 and CPU is 6x100 clock. I have even tried a replacement 600 with the same results.
