Unhappy Win2K & snapscan 310 beta don't work!!

When I install and run the beta software for win2k, I always get the message scanner not found. What should I do (I have noticed that, when installing the software, drivers for win2k are put on my harddisk (windows/temp), I tried to install them but it wasn't succesfull.) NEED SOME HELP,please.

I tried the drivers from http://www.afga.com/betasoftware but found they did not install as directect. I then manually installed the drivers from those left in the temp dir. I now have my scanner listed in the win2000 scanner list, but scanwise never sees the scanner!

I have emailed agfa, but did not have any response. I saw something ealier (but can now not find the url) under the search area for the 310, that afga now appear to quote that parralell snapscan scanners are not supported under 2000!
