I have the EtherFast 10/100 + 56k PC Card. I get the following error in (WinME) Device Manager: "The NDIS.VXD, NTKERN.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver. (code 2.)" By the way, this if for the LAN portion of the card. I tried the most up to date driver from the linksys web site. Anybody have any ideas?

I get the blue screen right after logging in. NTKERN something or other. I disabled the lan portion of my linksys and no more blue screen in Win ME. I won't need it until I bring it to the office but what then?

Try http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q312108.
Also go to http://www.geocities.com/ghavipour/Ndis_en.html or http://www.windows-tweaks.info/html/schutzfehler3.html to download. Check here for more info: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/t1036524908 but be careful, the discussion sort of digressed to another problem with ndis.vxd that involved Win98 and CPUs that run faster than 2.1 GHz. |
