Opti 930a (Who is this made for?)
I have a sound card that has 4 different cdrom controllers on it with the opti chipset but no manufacturer. Anyone have any ideas? I know it supports the older CDROM's but with out the drivers for it.... aaahhhh!!

Do you still have this driver?!?!? That is exactly the driver I need! It is for an NEC Ready 7022 with a Quad speed Mitsumi CD-Rom! If you do, anyway you can e-mail me a copy at JamesIsV@Yahoo.com! Would greatly appreciate it!

The driver you're looking for is actually at the following ftp address:
ftp://supportftp.neccsd.com/pub/ready/modem-sound/optiw95.exe. Unfortunately I haven't been able to access the site. You can get free NEC help at NEC.com and follow the prompts. I'll let you know if I get any updates on this. Mark |
