HELP Please. I can't install or get windows 95 to register my sound card!!!!

I have a 16-bit sound card in my computer and all i know aboutnit is that it is called 1817. It came with some OPTi drivers and I have no idea how to get windows to see my sound card is there! I have tried add new components but it does not see it. I am stuck so could someone tell me what to do!!!PLEASE!!!

Go to the system panel then unistal any sound card device or look at the "Other peripherals tab" whit the "?" sign and remove the soud devices. Then restart your machine. Windows should ask you for the drivers. Tell me if it works.
