Scanapi.dll fail to initialize

I can't seem to get the driver for OpticPro 4830 to work in NT. (I downloaded the file from Plustek). I keep getting the error message "Scanapi.dll failed to initialize" and then "Scanner DLL not found."

From what I have found, the DLL you mention doesn't exist. The closest one I can find is SCNDLL.DLL.

Based on previous experiences with Plustek Drivers, you may find that the file needs to be renamed. Copy the file called SCNDLL.DLL under C:\SCANNER and then rename it SCANAPI.DLL.

Restart and see how you go.

You can download Action Manager 32 from the above site. Unfortunately, there is a bug in the installation as the Extracted file that is causing your problem is only called C:\SCANNER\AM32\PRNDRV32.DL. Rename this file to PRNDRV32.DLL and restart your PC. Your Scanner should now work.
