Post SiS6326 video ghosting problems

Hello there all !! I am having a problem with ghosting on my computer. I am running an SiS6326 8MB AGP video onboard card. I have a generic 17" monitor manufactured by DAE SUN International out of Korea. I am running Win 98 with generic monitor drivers. I have recently contacted SiS and my mainboard manufacturers to see it they have any solutions to my problem. I have downloaded the latest SiS drivers (4.11.01.1280) and BIOS update (v 1.24), but to no avail. The best I can get out of my monitor is a refresh rate of 43MHZ and the video is rather grainy, not smooth and sharp as it should be. When I increase the refresh rate, I get even worse ghosting and a very prominent squiggly vertical line in the middle of the monitor. Can anyone give any insights as to is it the video drivers, the monitor drivers, or the cable connection to the video card. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance....
