Post Can't ID My Video Adapter

I am reloading Win98 on my 'cheap' system and I can't Identify which SIS Drivers I need. The Video chip is on the Motherboard and it says "3D Pro SIS AGP 8M"!

Any help with what driver I need and where I get would be appreciated. I have tried the MOBO AGP driver downloads from SIS already and I can't seem to get to any others via WINDRIVERS.COM. Thanks

if you can't find it on the documentation that your system came with you can open your case and look for your vidio chip. you should be able to located by cross referencing with the availible drivers from the SIS driver page. i.e. sis 620 vidio chips have sis 620 on them. Ifyou have trouble figuring out which one is the vidio, use the fcc number on your board to search windrivers for the manufacturer and hopefully a diagram. Unfortunately the driver page is being overused right now. good luck

You can follow the simple process of Identifying the board in a dos window.

Start the dos window
type debug
when the hypen shows type D C000:35
You will get some information identifying the board.
You may have to change last two numbers slightly to get a full name, but it will work fine.
Windriver provides this info in their web site.
