Trident TVGA 9000

On a Win95 based system I am using the Trident TVGA 9000 with a Hewlett Packard D1194A SVGA monitor. Although the driver I am using is the Win95 default "Trident Super vga" driver, and Windows don't seem to have any problem with that, still, I don't have the 256 colour option !!! Why is that? Could anybody help me????

I have just about the same setup and same
problem. Plus, though I can go to 800x600,
W95 says there is a problem when I switch to 1024x768 even though my monitor is capable of this resolution. I have even tried using SMONITOR in my AUTOEXEC.BAT as implied in the Trident folder on the W95 (ver A) CD. Still don't work. Has anyone made this bd work with W95?
