I need to know where I can find the driver for the modem listed in the subject line

You need to contact 3Com directly via their web page. Don't use the model number you have ...look for a white paper tab with a bar code on it. That is the acutal model numbernext to the bar code. You can try this address: support@consumer.3com.com (support)
