I've bought the new eOne from emachines and it comes with an integrated Ati Rage XL 8mb AGP video chip, i was confused to not see the drivers posted (at least with the name Rage XL) on the ATI site. I have visually looked at the chip and it does say Rage XL. Anyway, the machines locking up on any D3d game that i attempt to run, and does anyone know what chipset driver to use with this card??? Thanks

Yes, indeed. This graphics card/acceleration setup in these E-Machines seems to have trouble w/accelerator based games, too, such as Aliens Versus Predator, which has a nasty tendency to 'stop' (for about 20-30 secs.) every 2-3 minutes during the game.... I am very disappointed in ATI over this; they should have some updated drivers for this chipset posted on their webstite. It is bad enough that an E-Machine is basically non-uprgradable hardware wise, but to have an AGP graphics setup that has flaws like this one.....? Better start taking better care of customers, ATI.
