Angry ATI Xpert 128 16mb PCI

OK you would think that ATI would have specific drivers for an ATI Xpert 128 right, well closest choice I have found is RAGE 128 Expert. Moving on when i install these drivers for my card and rebot i get 640x480x16 colors, so i go and change it to 1024x768x16bit like i had my old card set to. When it rebots I get my cursor and a black screen that just HANGS locks my system up. I have a home built AMD K6-2 333@400MHZ 64mb PC-100 Cas 2, 10.2GB 7200RPM Maxtor, 6X DVD and I need help getting this DAMN CARD TO WORK so it will compelte my system. Any help with driver info or settigns I am screwing up would be apreicated. Thanks all

ATi is primarily a video chip manufacturer, not a video card manufacturer. Do you have a Name Brand, Model Number, and/or FCC ID# of the video card? Thanks!

i also have a homebuilt with the xpert128 apg using a FIC 503+ mobo with AMD k6-2 333, if you have the driver w86114en.exe, you my need to lower your resolvtion a bit. depends on your refresh rate capablities for your monitor. try at 600x800 16 bit and work up from there to see where your max gets. the only other item that might effect it is the clock speed might interfere. I havent tried the speed yet.
