Xpert 98 and Test Drive 5

I am running Windows 98 SE and I have an AMD K6 266 Processor on an Epox mother board. I have tried all new drivers for video card, sound card, bios flash, and even a clean install of Win 98 SE, but I cannot get TD 5 to work. Every time I go through the options and the game is about to start, it throws me back to my desktop.. I called tech support for td 5 and they were worthless..

Does any one have any suggestions? Thanks alot in advance......
