drivers

i need to know what drivers i need for my computer update. i am using windows 98. i updated to directx7.0.
Is sound, video, and game controllers all one driver?
Is my rage pro turbo agp 2x another driver?
Is my syxg50 synthasizer another driver?
Obviously I need someone who has the time to spell it out in black and white. It is just confusing for me.
