3D Rage Pro AGP 2X (Again)
I am runnning the card in a PIII/500 with 128Mb RAM, Directx7.0 and latest drivers (4.11.2560). The card performance is appalling. refresh rates won't reach the proper 85Hz. Game frame rates average 7.5 fps. Has anyone got any good ideas?

1.) Take the ATI out of the AGP slot.
2.) Replace with a GeForce256 or TNT2(or any other non ATI junk) |

I am persuaded.
Anyone want a second hand never properly used, never properly worked ATI rage pro card. Very Cheap. Don't bother to apply |

i have the same card as you and am getting 35-45 fps in flight simulator 98 and other games seem to have good frame rates too.this on a pentium 1 MMX 200 mhz ,96RAM.maybe that card is just a lemon .id take it back to the store and get another one .one thing though ,i updated drivers from ATI site and totally screwed everything up.got rid of those drivers and reinstalled the ones off the disc that came with the card ...all is ok now
