avance als120 sound card

Win Me enables the card but it does not run "due to an unknown problem". It loads the Avance WDM drivers and the device manager shows everything is ok, but no sound....Have tried installing the ALS120 Win98 driver from the Avance site to no avail. Anyone?

Most Win9x drivers are not fully compatible with either W2K or WinME. Until Avance Logic releases WinME drivers, you're SOL...
