I have a Compaq 5690. I have done a fresh install of Windows 98 and I have been able to find all of the drivers I need except one. I need the setup to turn on the On-Screen Display (volume control, etc). I have searched Compaq's Softpaq list and there is nothing that I can find.

Did you try looking for the specific driver for your monitor? You do not mention what monitor you have with your Presario desktop model.

Actually, it is not the monitor driver I am looking for but a standard "program" that overlays the status of the extra keyboard buttons onto the existing screen. At one point I actually had all my drivers in a directory and I lost them. That was with the original setup of the computer. The Quickrestore doesn't put them back, I tried.
