To anyone that owns a Compaq and is looking for drivers

Compaq is the WORST computer manufacturer in the world!!! They do not have any drivers on their website. They will "mail" you a cd with the drivers if you call 1800-888-0220 but, they want to charge you for it. If your computer is out of warrantee be prepared for a major headache! Good luck to all. Commiepaq SUCKS!!!

You are definitely right about Compaq being the WORST computer manufacturer ever. I own a 5020 and have been afraid to install windows 2000 because they are not going to support it. I will never buy another product from compaq again.

Compaq don't support windows 2000 just like they don't support windows NT AS THE COMPAQ PRESARIO IS DESIGNED FOR HOME USE AND NOT AS A BUSINESS MACHINE which NT and 2000 are BUSINESS operating systems!! Take a break dude! If you know the manufacturer of the device you need the driver for standard drivers will work fine.

I don't have any problems getting drivers for most of my devices. The problem comes down to the compaq devices, such as my Compaq IJ200 and maybe even my monitor (hopefully can just use plug and play driver). Thanks for your input. Post a message if you find any drivers that work for the IJXXX line of printers.
