PST sharing
Hi all :O)
This new client came to me after having it's outlook 2003 crashed on 2 computers, To find out he used ShareO software to share PST files (Calendar/mail and contacts) between these 2 computers.
I'm looking for a PST sharing solution which is stable, Fits 2 computers and not expensive.
Thank you :O)

If I'll uninstall the outlook 2007, How can I transfer the data to the outlook 2000 ? And does the Outlook 2000 allows realtime pst sharing ?
-
Outlook 2000 allowed the pst to be shared... from then on you were expected to use SBS or exchange... Whether you can import a 2007 or 2003 pst into 2000 is unknown.
Since it's only one person, it would be cheaper, quicker and more reliable to use IMAP connectivity and just leave the mail on the server.

These 2 computers are used by 2 different people, And Imap won't share contacts and calender......I guess I'll have to find some other solution.
Thanks Noo :O)
P.S. Paul young is coming to Israel, And i got great tickets for this evening concert :O)

So these two people need to see each other's email, calendar and contacts? Why don't they just setup a joint email address where contacts and calendar are included in the web interface?
-
It's an old famous art gallery, And they want their own domain in the email i guess. They are used to outlook, And there is another private account in one of the outlooks
-
It seems that they need to share mostly the calendar, So I tried playing with google calender and it seems to work nice. Just opened an generic gmail account and it sync well (For the meanwhile :O)
-
If they have their own domain, google has a free service to manage email for the domain.
-
By forwarding it to gmail account or another service ?
-
-
But will it manage emails with their original full usernames, like [email protected] or it will change it to some gmail address or extension ?
-
As I understand it, you use the gmail client, but the address is yourname@yourdomain.
-
Thanks a bunch Noo. I would be happy to hear from someone that had experienced with the free version.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but I travel a bit so I have to sync up my laptops and desktop. It's called EZOutlookSync. It is about 35 dollars. I just sync these up when I'm ready to go on the road.
