Anyone out have a problem with the new version of Itunes not launching after you do a download on an XP computer?
I have xp and I tunes, Are you saying you updated I tunes or downloaded from itunes store. I have I tunes version 10.6 I believe, I too have little problem with I tunes to appear. But after clicking it a few times and right click to open a couple of times with I pod connected It shows up.:)
I did both update to 10.6 that did not work then I did a download and that is not working either
Still no go on being able to launch Itunes. any other idea out there..almost seems windows XP is missing a file or command...
It isn't XP at all.
It's definetly another bug from iTunes.
I have spent the last few months with a bug they finally admitted too in the itunes versions above 10.0.
Video and audio begin to get out of sync after a while playing a movie.
You cannot re sync them with out restarting the program or even the computer.
After enough complaints and phone calls finally a senior supervisor admitted that it was there and they were trying to correct it.
This is just one in a number of software bugs in Itunes

Another post said just uninstall Bonjour and that should fix it
Oh and clicking on it a bunch of times only starts several instances of it in Task Manager which makes the problem worse
Good Luck
Thanks I thought I was going crazy in thinking XP was the problem..I did try the TS1776 fix but that did not work..So I will try the TS 2363 fix.
Will that Supervisor let you know when they get it fix?
Well just got done doing fix TS 2363 and that did not work..Then did the uninstall of Bonjour and that did not work either.
So let hope Itune gets a fix out there for the XP people...
I hope not I am done with Itunes. It's very poorly written software from a company that doesn't care. I am recommending my customers use any other possible alternative. That's why I said good luck
