The last 4 digits represent the version 2181 is the version for NVIDIA. I am currently running version 2183 on Win2k and ME and these drivers are better. Don't know about XP.
Look in the XP forum, as there are LOTS of issues with the NVidia's drivers and XP.
now i'm really confused :) ---one guy says it's the last 4 numbers is the version # and another guy said it's the first 4 #'s on another forum---HELP please--thanks lenny
Well it is rather confusing but if you were really running a driver from Nvidia as old as 5.13 the Geforce3 card probably wouldn't be recognised.
