How do I find onboard video card type/make ?

This m/board has an on-board agp video card. I didn't get any drivers, manuals etc with it (yep, an el-cheapo for my g/friend ! :) ). I know it's a 4m video card, and I think it might be an SiS (Maybe not...).
Is there an app out there somwhere that can analyse (or whatever) hardware and return a manufacturers code (or something) to help me narrow the search down?
Windows 95, 98, ME all pick it up as a VGA compatible only.

When the computer first boots up the first thing you will see if the monitor initilizes quickly enough will be info about your video card. Usually giving the manifacture, model number and what size it is. Then you can locate drivers through this web site or go to www.driversguide.com and use user name: Drivers and pass word: All. Then locate the search engine and you can usually find any driver you need using the model number

Try Start Run then type in dxdiag and click ok. this will bring up the direct X info, click the display tab.

You think it's SiS? They make integrated graphics, which are commonly found on cheapo systems. Is the CPU Intel or AMD? If it's Intel (Celeron, Pentium II/III), the video/system chipset should be the SiS 620; if AMD (K6, K6-2, K6-III), the SiS 530. Both drivers are available on their website.
If you have a seperate PCI/AGP video card, most likely the chipset is SiS 6326, which is also at the website. However that chipset is not as common in low cost systems as the integrated ones. ;)
