If I understand you correctly are you asking what the risks are of updating your video card drivers? Can you please elaborate, I'm not quite understanding the question.
Thanks!

Now...if I could only defrag my brain...
I want to update my video card: ATI RAGE PRO.And I want to know if my games can bug or something like this.
In bref, THE RISKS OF AN UPDATE ARE?

Does "bug" mean "corrupt/foul-up"? (No offense, I didn't have a clue what you were talking about either...!)
Swapping video card is not that big a deal...
Via the Add/Rem Programs icon, remove all traces of ATI junk installed, then switch to generic Standard VGA Adapter in Cntrl Pnl/ System/ Devices/Video Adapters
Install new card/drivers
(If you haven't chosen a card yet, it'd be hard to go wrong with a low priced GF2 MX...awesome performance up thru 1024x768x32 bit color, yet dirt cheap.
If you'd like lots of features (DVD player, etc.) look at the ATI Radeon
So, you say there's no problems releated to a video card's update!Sweet!

I promise nothing Alpha Leader. If you update drivers via the net, get a virus..use beta drivers that aren't compatible with whatever you have on your system, etc...just remove and reinstall the old ones that hopefully you have on disk.Quote:
