I could be wrong here, but just for the sake of it, i want to pass some info along. The celeron, and i believe the pII use almost the identical core as the ppro. I don't know if this is true, but just passing it along.

When the Pentium II came out, it was made with the Pentium Pro core and with the MMX technology combined.
This is why Intel stopped production on the Pentium Pro chips.
