You might check out WinDrivers website here for Exception & General Protection Fault Errors.
Once the page loads up, you can perform a Cntl+F for Find...enter "Invalid page fault"...it will find all of the ones listed...hopefully, you'll be able to find what you're looking for.
Good Luck!

go to control-panerl -> add/remove software..
select Internet Explorer - click "uninstall" and select "Repair"
also depending which version you have currently, get the latest 5.5 (i believe).
Custcomp,
I too have exactly the same problem with Internet Explorer (ver 5.5).
I have not loaded any other programs at all. I have also used Norton 2001 boot CD to check for viruses.
If I launch I.E with no dial-up no error occurs. Like wise making a dial-up connection with no programs is O.K.
Any program that uses the internet fails with an invalid page fault in module unknown. I.E, Oulook and Oulook Express. Norton 2001 cannot get anything through live update either.
After closing the invalid page fault for Internet Explorer I also get an invalid page fault for RUNDLL32, again in module unknown.
I have run the repair for Internet Explorer to no avail. I have also removed dial-up networking etc. and putting it all back in to no avail.
I also re-installed Windows 98SE but that had no effect either.
Have you found a fix or can anyone else shed more light?
Thanks a lot in advance.

boot to DOS and type in Scandisk -? and read the little help about the command and read the options
Although I know the hard disk is fine I did try it anyway to no avail.
Does anyone know how to remove I.E completely from a machine (including registry) and are there any other files like RUNDLL32.EXE that are related to dial-up connections etc. as I thought maybe taking these files out and re-installing W98SE may cure it!
Thanks a gain
Stuart
well i can suggest you to re install W98SE(although I KNOW HOW CRAPY IS THE SE VERSION)... and deleting the DOS partition and recreating it again and install Win98SE again! (using FDISK, but remember prior to make a Boot disk, yeah... Win98SE bootdisk are the BEST ones! but Win98SE sucks!)Quote:

but you can play with the registry...
just follow this:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall
and just find whatever whic says IExx and click on it and copy the UninstallString key(double click on it and copy the path) and just paste it on Run under Start button and press ENTER! :(
