[RESOLVED] intel pentium 233 chip or overdive chip

hi...my friend currently runs win95 through a p166 but is looking to update.can any1 advise on how much an overdrive chip will speed up his system,and the price in £ (or us$) for an overdrive or ideally a p233

Using a 233 Overdrive will probably not produce much of a performace gain. At least not worth what you will have to pay for it. With all other hardware being the same, an upgrade from a 166 to a 233 won't make a huge difference.
