Apache for Win32
Has anyone setup and tried Apache for Win32?
I've given up on getting IIS running properly (having to add an NT user for every person who needs an ftp/www account? Please.)
I setup G6 FTP Server for the ftp acces, and it is easy, uses fewer resources, and I don't have to add a user to NT to allow access.

Yes, I am running Apache 1.3.14 and it's awesome. Did you have a problem?

I was more interested in how well it worked. I have it up and runnning now, and it is awesome. Apache makes IIS look like a dog turd that has been baking on a hot sidewalk.
As far as problems, the only one I've encountered is this:
I'm trying to setup Mercur WebView (a web based e-mail system, kinda like hotmail, yahoo, etc), and when trying to log in, I get a 405 Method Not Allowed message. It refers to the POST method used by the Weblogin.exe file.
I think it's a Mercur problem, as the default html files are a bit buggy. And as great as the Mercur Mail Server is, the Webview package does not come with ANY documentation...

Sorry, no experience with that software, now how it gets set up. If you can set up a normal password protected directory in httpd.conf, I would say it is local to that software.
Good luck.
