Go into start>Programs>Admin. tools Common>Event Viewer. Then go into Log>Log Settings. In the "Event Log wrapping" select overwrite as needed. This will overwrite the old events after your event log fills up.
I would also try to find out why you are getting so many events.

If you are logging successful file or registry access, that could explain why your log file is overflowing.
Switch off logging of successes for anything you are not VERY interested in.
Maybe someone has set Performance monitor to send an alert when something hits a certain level but it's been hitting that level every 5 seconds since then.
Ok, I will do and check a few of those things. One thing I know that is still happening is the problems with "Master Browser" where somehow/sometimes my computer (NT4 WS) thinks its the Master Browser, and I guess that screws up the NT4 Server downstairs..? No one ever answered on that issue, so I have had to just leave it alone for now.
Are there any good sites which have good information/help, etc. on NT4 WS and Servers? The books out there are great, but pricey.
Thanks again all.

You can disable master browser on an NTW through the netbui properties in network neighborhood properties.
NT server set to primary domain controller is always the master browser and it should always win a browser election.
Is the server on a different subnet? that could cause your workstation to become master browser but it shouldn't cause any problems with the server.
