Out Of Memory Errors

When running a partitcular NT4 SP6 machine I keep getting "Out Of Memory Errors". It happens in a varity of programs. Excel and Maximo (Main Company System) are the 2 moast common due to use. However in task manager it has plenty of memory - over 60MB free
The Machine is a Mesh PIII700 128MB 10GB H-Disk. It has a standard install of NT4 + SP6 with a full install of MS Office 97. The machine was built using a ghost image and the others are not affected.

If you have any ideas or thigns I oculd try it would be most helpful

Maybe obvious, but have you set the paging file as permanent (1.5 - 2 times physical memory). Try it & let us know! ;)

Has your user filled up the C: drive with porn or MP3's? (assuming your swap file is on the C: drive) That could be the cause too!

I've seen this error when the program is trying to access a corrupt file or the print driver isn't compatable with the program you are running (usually a 16bit program).

1) What program is causing this error?
2) Do any other workstations get the same error if they are running the same program?

The machine is a standard user workstation so its got no porn, warez or MP3's on it. It has a page file set to 128 - 200 MB and is permanent.
One of the programs is 16bit (Maximo by PSDI) but Excell and other programs are also doing it. It has no printer attached to it but the user is connected to a HP LJ4+ down the network using standard drivers.
As I said it is an Imaged machine (Ghost 6.5) and the other 10 machines are fine.

hmm - out of memory errors you say..

1. try to reinstall the Service Pack (maybe a corrupted DLL)

2. Clear your Swap file (set min and max to "0") and create a new swap file

3. Scan for a virus

4. Revert to "standard VGA" driver and see if it happens (reinatll driver later..)

5. Remove the printer "Delete files" and reinstall it..

6. check if problems happens in different profile / user..

Out of the list this is what I have already done the rest I will try to do
