1002 uses for duct tape?
A customer brings in a computer claiming it was making a buzzing sound. Upon removing the cover I found that the previous owner had tried to duct tape the cpu heatsink/fan to the chip. Well, thwe crusty tape failed to hold and the sound was the upsidedown fan on the bottom of the box. I looked a little more in the box and found duct tape hoding the cd-rom drive inplace also.

Actually, my cpu is duct-taped to my windrivers workstation CPU, burnt one out on the server and one didn't fit, it'w working fine for now, improvisation.

had acer brought in that had the cdrom, harddrive and floppy held in by tape, all done by the techs in a best buy shop and that was not the first machine we looked at that way from there.

Did you say techs and Best Buy in the same post?
