things to do while doing a full install of win98
where i work, i cant go ghosts of win98 onto new HDD (bleh). so i have to site behind the computer and watch as win98 slowly installs itself. so i started to play with what is given to me on the screen, and i learned a few things.
when detecting hardware..there is a lil rectangular box...right? right..it will never line up flush on the right or left edges. try lining it up with the darker box where "time remaining" sits. it will either overlap, or leave the smallest gap. secondly, when your system finally reboots to the win98 gui (without video drivers installed) the hourglass fits perfectly into the carat next to "next."
just some stuff to think about/fool around with if ya ever get bored while doing a full install of win98.
