Being completely foreign to the pc world a friend of a friend asked me what they should ask for when shopping for a new PC. I told them a list of things by phone. A few days later they called to thank me and tell me they had purchased one. They said they were so happy to know what to ask, and that they had asked exactly what I told them especially about the monitor ( I had told them to be careful of cheap monitors with low DPI that come in package deals)
..they demanded that their monitor have the best "pickles" available. Guess the salesman promised them it did.
