Problems Mapping Network Drives

I have 5 NT machines which require mappings to 2 drives on an NT4 server. I am able to successfully map these drives fine, but after the machines are rebooted, they are unable to locate the share (I get the prompt appear, unable to locate sharename, do you want to restore this connection etc etc). Once the machine boots, the share appears in my computer with a red cross on it, but if I double click on it, it reconnects and works fine. I wrote a batch file using the net use command to map these drives and placed it in startup. This worked fine for the first time, but once the share has been mapped and the machine rebooted, it continually tries to remap the share at bootup even though I haven't specified it to be persistent. Any ideas why the share isn't being mapped properly at bootup? Or why my batch file is persistently trying to map the drives even though I didn't specify it to? The guys who use these machines are real picky about this sort of crap at the moment, and wont get off my back about it. I beleive persistence is set to on by default. Try specifying /persistence:no in your batch file. You might want to find any \\servername\sharename entry in the registry (search using regedit) and delete it before running the new batch file.
