SIS Driver
I've got a PC Chips M571 TX Pro II mainboard that I can not get a video driver for.
I went on the PC Chips website and as always the site won't give me the download page for the correct driver.
I've also been to the SIS website and the drivers I downloaded worked, BUT, it conflicts with my serial mouse on Com1, (Go Figure)
Has anyone got the correct driver that they can email to me? [email protected]
Thank You in advance

Hey eagle I think I have your drive but its like 11MB compressed! I don't think that will go across to well! I'll uncompress and see if I can get unneeded stuff out and get back to you!
GLSmith.
If you have other idea e-mail me but work address isn't set up right now so I won't get it till tonight.

Look for drivers on another web site, what also provides support sevice for PCChips MB,www.pcwave.com.tw

pcwave.com works better, I'll add it to the PCChips page.

Since you know it is a SIS video you may want to look at the video chip to determine what type of chip it is. There may be a heatsink on it if it's AGP. Just gently remove the heatsink and look for the chip model number. If it still conflics with COM1 look in the device manager and check what it's conflicting with. If it's an IRQ conflict you may be able to assign a new IRQ in the BIOS. I have only seen a video conflict with a com port once and that was on an older I\O card with jumper set incorrectly.
Hope this helps
